Hey, It's Phi with the very first Possessive-S Hot and Not post!

Hot: Custom Design

It's so original, and it shows that if you need something, you don't need it pre-made, you have awesome talent and you can go make it yourself.  It also gives freedom as you can go and create whatever pattern you want, and it will be unique, since no two patterns are the same. 



Not: Drapes

Ok, I will confess that they are handy, but when you get down to it, they're super fug.  Great for your grandma, or the theater, but not your house.  They're very wrinkly and distracting in any color, that tassel is not helping the situation either.

Hot: Bangles

Bangles are always in.  No matter what color, shape or quantity.  They make a boring outfit into a decent one.  Even with three bangles, they complement each other. The most popular color for bangles are gold, but silver and black are around too.  Feel free to accessorize!

Not: Fake Eyelashes

Eww. The fakeness is obvious in any situation.  Too thick, and unnatural on your eye.  It's even uglier if you decide to detach the eyelashes from the eye or "Create Depth" with them.  It's not right, and who would have that many eyelashes anyway?

Hot: Nude Lips with a Touch of Gloss

This is hot.  Since it never looks good having a very bright mouth, and very bright eye makeup, there has to be something done with the lips.  We don't want the lips to completely vanish, so we add a nude tone, and just to alert everyone that they're still there, the hot thing to do would be to add just a touch of lip gloss to the center of the lips.

Not: Fancy "Couture" Nose

Why do people wear this?  It looks like you broke your nose because you weren't paying attention to where you were going and ran into a wall, causing it to be distorted and have a "Broken Nose" lump.  How is stupidity "Couture"?

Hot: Purple Eye Makeup

The smokey eye is so over used.  Just because were going into winter doesn't mean that everything has to be dark and dreary.  Besides, purple is a very cool, wintery color that symbolized royalty in the ancient world. It's also right in the middle of dark eyes and light eyes depending if you use lavender or you are into a more royal shade of purple.

Not: Sticking All Your Rares in One Room

This is just annoying and condescending not to mention ridiculous.  If you have rares, put them in your closet instead of having rare rooms that just rub in other peoples faces how successful you are. You're more likely to get hacked that way anyways....

Not: Starting Every Word With A Capital

Starting Every Word With An Unnecessary Capital Letter Makes Typing Time Consuming And Difficult.  It's Also Frustrating To Find Where One Sentence Begins And Another One Ends.  It's Not Cool, It's Stupid And Aggravating Plus Difficult To Read.  How Hard Was That?

Hot: Platform Heels

Normal, skinny heels could fall and break and send you, and your reputation tumbling to the ground.  Platform heels have all the height, but none of the risk. Not only are they more comfortable, they're better looking and come in many forms from sneaker style to flat style. They're usually cheaper that platforms because they're lower in demand and can be found for prices as low as 4sd non superstar.

Not: Limited Edition

What kind of manic buys every single piece of LE? Why would you buy LE in the first place?  It's tacky, over priced, and hard to wear.  It sends more signals out that you're better than other people and your more Elite than them. This is too difficult a brand to deal with anymore.

Hot: Daring Head Accessories

Dare to try something new.  Be bold, start a new statement with a hot hat.  Don't be afraid to experiment, there are some very wild hats that could look great with the right combination of colors.  Will you be the next style starter?

Not: VPH (Very Pointy Heels)

...Are only for old timers.  How are you supposed to get your feet into those?  The patterns are ugly and the point is threatening. Let's leave these in the past, and go on the the present, rounded.
