Spring; Fresh, new, free and light. The season's change calls for lighter, brighter colors to celebrate the rebirth of the world and where I live, the return of the sun for once. Fresh rains and blooming flowers give the world a clean start. Mint and light pinks and blues are coming into fashion alongside the turning of the earth to create this youthful look. Inspired by the runways of 2012, I give you Spring.
Because I did the look and then went backwards then on using undo to take pics, stuff kinda changes in the middle. The base face below shows you what it eventually, with all the makeup off, looked like.
Base fase.
Starr out by putting a light coat of Lavender Dove volumizing mascara to eyes
Add a light coat of black lengthening mascara, be sure to only add a bit and not go all the way out. Remember that things are just starting to come into bloom and are still small.
Add Crystal Ice or other light blue eye pencil above and below both eyes midway.
Put Winter Forest or another mint colored eye kohl on the front and pack tips of the eyes in a v shape.
Next, put a white kohl on the tops under the white mascara and out a little bit to make it look like the eyelashes are extended outward farther horizontally.
Add black eyeliner under the black eyelashes on the bottom of the eyes (waterline) to enhance darkness. Be sure to stop where the eyelashes end for now.
Extend the eyelashes down to the inner corner of the eye by putting Lavender Dove liquid eyeliner on the top inner part of the eye
Put a touch of black eyeliner at the outer corner of the eye
Using the Bermuda Shade Stick, put a light coat of mint green going from the outer edge of the eye up to the eyebrow to about where the iris begins.
Put Angel Blue Shade Stick or another baby blue tone above the top part of the eye near the eyebrow over the mint and then put another small dot layer above the inner corner of the eye, like shown above
Put some of the Mint tone under neath the eyes and put a darker layer of mint like winged eyeliner following the waterline of the eye outwards.
Go over that with a light blue
Put a lighter, gray/white/nude eyeshadow like L'Occitane Helene Eyeshadow over the top part of the pastel eyeshadow to blend it in with the skin tone
Use Oyster Shade Stick or another shadow toned eyeshadow along the edges of the face to create depth in the face.
Using a light pink blush, like Pink Lavender, shade lightly along the upper part of the cheekbones to highlight only using one stroke to be sure it remains light
Next, take a grayish blush, for example Pink Sand from DOT, and go above and below the light pink blush to create shadow
Finally, at the edges of the face, dab an apricot pink or coral tones blush like Fusion Coral to add more color to the cheeks
For the lips, first put on one coat of Natura Faces Rosa Ritmo lipstick or another light pink lipstick. Be sure to only put on one thin coat as to not make it too bright.
Put one thin layer of Lavender Dove or another white colored lipstick over the pink layer
Finally, put a nude pink lipstick over the white, like the Soft Skin lipstick, to create a blended nude effect.
Zoom out and you're done!
Please rate!
