Hot Buys: Geometric Dress

Not quite accurate to its title, this newly released dress lacks in straight lines, making the only geometric quality of it the sum of poorly drawn shapes. I personally am not fond of this dress other than the fact that it has the exclusive title of "Hot Buy". The colors on this dress go well together, but are not in season, defeating the actual purpose of being a "Hot Buy". This dress is allegedly inspired by the cut of a black and white Alexander McQueen dress paired with the recolored print of a Topshop dress.

This piece has not only been released in the wrong season, but in a store where it does not quite blend in. The black isn't dark enough to match with the Gothic prints of Fallen Angel, but too detailed to mix with Rio. Slightly resembling the 10 million 8 SD dress from around last year, this dress is good buy if you're looking for the dress, but not the money you would have to spend to get it, making this a good 19 SD alternative.

Detail
Poorly done, lazy art is all this dress has to offer in the way of graphics, the outline of the shapes not lining up with the coloring. This is a new type of graphics style, but overall the finished product is not as illustrative as is could be, nor as versatile. This piece calls attention to itself, making it very hard to wear or make an outfit with unless layered underneath various other pieces.

Overall Raiting: 1

Don't you know who you're dealing with?
